The Academy of Design & Engineering offers a variety of career pathways for students who enjoy building and creating. Students collaborate with industry professionals and organizations to create products ranging from museum exhibitions to films for festivals!

Engineering, manufacturing, construction, robotics, and electronics are just a few of the careers explored in this academy. Engineering and these related fields are always solving our most challenging problems. Engineers rank amongst the highest paid jobs in the world, and the related skilled trades have one of the highest job outlooks. Whether you are creative, artistic, or you like to fix problems and design things, you'll be able to explore many career options in the DE Academy.
CTSOs are a great way for students to get involved and to develop their leadership skills. The CTSO for this academy is the Technology Student Association (TSA) and Skills USA.
TCHS has an employability growth platform called eOS. Assisting our students in becoming college and career ready is important to us and is part of our mission. Teachers monitor students on the following three criteria: responsibility/dependability, appropriate use of technology, and communication. These scores help students set individual goals for improving their employability in the community, as well as for rewards within their classroom and the Academy. Eos also provides students with an opportunity to learn, self-assess, and improve 21st century skills.
