Bowling

Bowling is a Winter coed sport where we compete against 16 other high school teams in Region 7 of Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA). We have a girls and boys team and we also allow 7th and 8th graders to join our team from TC Middle and Southern Middle. No prior bowling experience required. Our season starts in October (after fall break) and ends in early February. We practice at Southland Lanes Collins Bowling Center (normally on Wednesday and Friday after school) from 4 pm to 6 pm (except holidays), 205 Southland Drive. We have a great time while learning our sport. Check us out on Instagram: tchsbowling and Facebook: TCHS Bowling Team

In our Official KHSAA Region 7 Bowling Tournament in 2025, the girls team finished in 5th place with Megan Martin bowling a 167 game and the boys team finished in 7th place overall with Chase Cole Church bowling a 213 game. In other 2024-25 Tournaments: girls team won a 3rd place and a 4th place trophy in Internal Regional Tournaments. In singles Region 7 Tournament: Ethan Waters bowled a 225 high game and a season high series of 618 to finish in 6th place overall. Two boys made the 2025 ALL REGION TEAM: Ethan Waters and Alex Waters, who bowled a 233 season high game.

Team SHOUT OUTS – these TCHS graduates have all received a College Bowling Scholarships: Austin Hensley class of 2019, Isiah Gordon class of 2020, and Gabrielle Gill class of 2021 from Midway University. Dylan Church class of 2023 from Campbellsville University – at Harrodsburg. Kaci Sapp class of 2024 from University of the Cumberlands. Ethan Waters class of 2025 from Midway University.
