I am a proud graduate of Tates Creek High School myself. I went on to pursue my bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in Family Studies and I am currently working on my master’s degree at the University of The Cumberlands. Most of my professional experience consists of me working with adolescents. It is truly something that I enjoy and I do believe it is my passion. My office is room 207e in the Media Center.

My role in the school is to work with school staff, students, families, and community agencies to identify anything that could be impacting student’s success. Once those causes are identified, I then assist in removing or reducing those barriers to academic achievement by focusing on the emotional, behavioral, and social influences that affect a student’s learning in school. This can be achieved by parent meetings, group or individual sessions and/or teacher conferences. My office is room D105a.
